Project Requirements
A global customer required a load balancer that also helps ensure web traffic was optimized so all of the public facing customer sites would load quickly and is always available.
Solution
We implemented 1 pair of F5 BIG IP LTM (Local Traffic Manager) network devices to help load balance web server traffic, direct clients to web application cluster groups for HA, configured SSL offloading so web server will have more resources to process web traffic, and also improved their on-premise Microsoft Exchange server by applying Microsoft Exchange templates that optimizes user connections.
